Ovenhart Hearthstaff
This staff is a polished length of dark cherry wood capped with a ring of hammered copper shaped like an open oven door. Along the shaft run inlaid lines of porcelain-white enamel that resemble braided dough, and the grip is wrapped in soft tan leather stitched with tiny catpaw motifs. When held by a catfolk, the staff seems to warm in the hand like a fresh loaf. The head of the staff contains a shallow hollow that always smells faintly of butter, yeast, and cinnamon, and when magic is invoked, golden flour motes drift from its seams like sparks from a hearth.
