Cloudskipper

The Cloudskipper is a masterwork of biomechanical engineering, a sleek vessel crafted from a shimmering green-gold alloy known as living-bronze. Unlike the traditional wood-and-chitin Damselflies, this ship has a polished metallic exoskeleton that glints like a beetle's wing under a noon sun. Four spindly but incredibly strong articulated legs allow it to land on jagged terrain or flat earth with predatory grace, though it remains notoriously heavy and sinks if placed in water. The interior is surprisingly airy, featuring moss-lined walls that dampen sound and vertical ivy-gardens that recycle the air. A prominent sliding hatch sits atop the fuselage just aft of the four translucent crystalline wings, while a hidden panel behind the captain's station conceals a second specialized weapons platform.
