The Starfall Sabot

A heavy 12.7 x 55mm cartridge with a casing forged from cold-pressed adamantine and a projectile of translucent, faceted ruby. Etched into the surface of the bullet are micro-sigils that glow with a rhythmic, crimson light. The primer is replaced by a concentrated mote of elemental fire, suspended in a vacuum-sealed chamber at the base of the brass.
