Bone Marshal - AI-generated fantasy Monster

Bone Marshal

A Bone Marshal is not merely a skeleton with rank. It is the last discipline of a fallen command structure, animated by oath, humiliation, or a necromancer's hand. In life it led soldiers through corridors like this one. In undeath it does the same, except the soldiers are rattling bones and the orders never stop. In Bone Bastion, the alcoves of skulls are said to be its listening staff, catching vibrations from the library beyond and warning it when intruders draw near.

Hallway Tactician. While in a corridor or other narrow space no wider than 10 feet, the Bone Marshal has advantage on opportunity attacks, and its melee attacks deal an extra 1 damage.
Dead Officer. The Bone Marshal can speak only in clattering bone code and battlefield gestures, but undead creatures of its allegiance understand its commands automatically.
Multiattack. The Bone Marshal makes two Rusted Halberd attacks.
Rusted Halberd. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 () slashing damage plus 3 () necrotic damage.
Marshal the Dead. The Bone Marshal points a bony finger at one undead it can see within 60 feet. The target can immediately use its reaction to move up to half its speed and make one weapon attack, if it can. If no undead allies are present, the Bone Marshal instead hurls a burst of splintered bone at one creature it can see within 60 feet, forcing the target to make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 7 () piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much on a success.
Bone Ward. When a creature the Bone Marshal can see moves within 5 feet of it, the Marshal can make one Rusted Halberd attack against that creature.
