Mountain Camouflage. The Cliffmaw Stalker has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide on cliffs, rocky outcrops, or among boulders.
Cliffside Leap. As a bonus action, the Cliffmaw Stalker can leap up to 20 feet to a vertical surface and cling. While clinging it can make one claw attack as a bonus action. It can fall up to 60 feet without taking damage if it lands on a slope or into talus.
Pack Hunter Instinct. If the Cliffmaw Stalker reduces a creature to 0 hit points with its cliffjaw and the corpse is left near a cliff edge, there is a 30 percent chance a natural rockfall will be triggered within days, altering nearby routes.
Multiattack. The Cliffmaw Stalker makes two attacks: one with its cliffjaw and one with its talons. If it moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits with its cliffjaw attack, the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone and slide 10 feet toward the nearest cliff edge.
Cliffjaw. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 () piercing damage. If the target is a creature smaller than the Cliffmaw Stalker, the target is grappled (escape ).
Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 () slashing damage. If the target is grappled by the Cliffmaw Stalker, this attack deals an extra 7 () slashing damage.
Rockshove. The Cliffmaw Stalker smashes the ground in a 10-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 10 () bludgeoning damage and be knocked back 10 feet and knocked prone. A successful save halves the damage and avoids being knocked prone.
Stoneward. When a creature the Cliffmaw can see within 10 feet makes an attack roll against a target other than the Cliffmaw, it can make a claw attack at disadvantage against that creature.
