Iron Gaol Mimic
Ancient prison wardens sometimes intentionally kept these mimics in place of actual cells. They served as a low-maintenance execution method and a way to dispose of evidence. Prisoners would simply 'disappear,' leaving behind nothing but belongings that the mimic would eventually spit out.
