Cliffclaw

Mountain folk tell stories of the cliffclaw as a guardian of passes. Shepherds leave offerings of salt and dried roots near known lairs to avoid the beast's ire. Some miners seek cliffclaw scales to patch tools and boots, believing them to bring surefooted luck.

Mountain Surefooted. The cliffclaw has advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks made to maintain balance or to shove a creature on the same surface as it.
Rock Camouflage. When the cliffclaw is on rocky ground or among scree, it has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks to hide and on Wisdom (Perception) checks to detect movement, and its Rock Hurl deals an extra 3 bludgeoning damage when thrown from a higher vantage point.
Shoving Charge. If the cliffclaw moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a Horn Gore attack, the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed off balance and fall prone. Creatures knocked prone near a ledge must make a Dexterity saving throw or fall off the edge if they are within 5 feet of it.
Horn Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 13 () bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature smaller than Large, it is shoved 10 feet and knocked prone.
Rock Hurl. Ranged Weapon Attack: to hit, range 60/240 ft., one target. Hit: 12 () bludgeoning damage. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone if within 5 feet of a cliff edge or ledge.
Hooked Slash. The cliffclaw lunges and slashes with its hooked forepaws twice. Melee Weapon Attack: to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 () slashing damage.
Terrain Shift. If the cliffclaw is hit by an attack while it is on a cliff or ledge, it can use its reaction to shift 10 feet along the same surface without provoking opportunity attacks, potentially gaining a better angle or knocking a creature off balance.
