Grove Stalker

Hunters and foresters speak of 'green shadows' that unnerve hounds and leave picketed animals missing. Old-timers tell how these beasts can mimic faint bird calls to scatter game and lure travelers into ambushes. Only a few know to look for raised bone platforms and stitched leaf traps.

Pack Hunter. When three or more pack members act in the same round they gain a bonus to attack rolls against any creature that is flat-footed or surprised.
Living Camouflage. When motionless among foliage the stalker gains +10 to Hide checks and cannot be detected by scent unless within 5 feet.
Pounce. If the stalker moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and hits with its bite, that attack deals an extra damage and the target must make a Strength save () or be knocked prone. The stalker cannot use this on consecutive rounds.
Forest Agility. The stalker is comfortable in dense woodland; it takes half damage from falls of 10 feet or less when landing in brush or trees, and has advantage on escape attempts made in dense undergrowth.
Bite. The stalker bites a single target. On a hit the target takes piercing damage. If the stalker attacked from stealth or the target was surprised, the bite deals an extra damage and the target must succeed on a Strength save or be knocked prone.
Rake (2 claws). Two quick slashing strikes with the stalker's recurved claws. The stalker uses this only after successfully grappling or when it pounces. Each hit deals slashing damage.
Grapple Lunge. The stalker lunges from concealment and attempts to seize a target. On a hit the target is grappled (escape ). While grappling the stalker deals only one claw attack per round and gains advantage on its next bite if it maintains the grapple.
Coordinated Strike. When an ally within 30 feet hits a creature the stalker can make an immediate claw attack against the same creature with advantage. Usable once per round.
Interpose. When a grappled ally is threatened the stalker can Attempt to Interpose, allowing the ally a chance to escape (granting +2 to the ally's next escape attempt).
