Velith
Demigod
Velith
Species
Outsider
Appearance
Velith is tall and too still, like a figure carved from moonlit frost and left standing in a chapel cellar. Their skin has the pale translucence of old parchment stretched over delicate bone, with faint shadowed lines beneath it like roots or cracks in ice. Black hair falls in a perfectly straight curtain to the waist, but the ends drift as if underwater when they move. Their eyes are silver-gray, luminous at the edges, and seem to focus more sharply on locked doors, chains, and clenched hands than on faces. They wear layered robes of ash-blue silk over a hard inner harness of polished dark bronze, the softness of a priest and the restraint of a prisoner. The contradictory detail is this: every fold of their clothing is elegant and ceremonial, yet their wrists and throat are ringed with old iron scars that look brutally practical, as though they once belonged to someone kept on a chain.
“A whisper-soft voice, slow and deliberate, as if every sentence is being threaded through a needle. Velith almost never wastes words.”

Distinguishing Features
A ring of faint iron scars around both wrists and the throat
Silver-gray eyes that seem to glow behind the iris
Hair that drifts as though moved by water rather than air
A chapel bell tone that follows their voice when they whisper
A tiny crack of light across the sternum that appears when they are emotionally strained
Voice
“Soft, cool, and intimate, with the unsettling calm of someone discussing weather while choosing a grave.”
Clothing
Layered ash-blue ceremonial robes over bronze restraint armor, with thin silver chainwork, a veil pinned at the throat, and soft boots that make almost no sound
Body Language
Hands folded close to the chest, shoulders slightly rounded as though shielding an invisible wound. When thoughtful, Velith tilts their head in tiny increments, like an inquisitor hearing a confession. Their stillness is intense enough to feel like pressure, and when angered, they do not gesture more, they simply stop blinking.
