Dr. Casus Lunaris
Memory Physician
Dr. Casus Lunaris
Species
Lunaris Echo
Appearance
Dr. Casus Lunaris appears as a narrow, precise figure whose body seems assembled from flesh, pearl-gray cartilage, and faintly luminous seams. Her movements are economical until she stops, at which point she becomes unnervingly still, like a specimen pinned beneath glass. Her face is long and severe, softened by a small, almost grandmotherly smile that never quite reaches her eyes. Fine silver cracks run from her left temple to her collarbone, glowing whenever one of her projections disagrees with another. Her hands are stained amber at the fingertips from years of handling Memory Core resin. The unexpected contradiction is her laugh, which is warm, loud, and entirely ordinary, making her moments of eerie stillness feel even more wrong.
“Precise and quietly formal, with clipped consonants and occasional softened vowels from Lunari Cant. She speaks faster when excited, then repeats the final phrase in a different cadence as if checking which version of herself said it.”

Distinguishing Features
Silver luminous cracks crossing the left side of her body
Amber-stained fingertips that never fully wash clean
A small red wool glove worn on only one hand
Her shadow occasionally turns its head before she does
Her reflection may blink out of sequence
Voice
“A low, dry contralto with a faint doubling effect, as if another speaker is half a syllable behind her. When genuinely amused, the doubling vanishes.”
Clothing
A high-collared slate laboratory coat reinforced with copper thread, layered over a russet wrap vest patterned with tiny geometric mountain lines. She wears soft black boots, a belt of glass memory ampoules, and one red wool glove on her right hand, despite insisting that she dislikes sentimental objects.
Body Language
She keeps her elbows close to her ribs and touches two fingers to her temple whenever someone says the word original. Her posture is exact in public, but when exhausted she leans slightly toward empty spaces as if listening to someone standing there.
