Appearance
A broad-shouldered dwarf whose presence fills a room before his voice does. His beard is thick and carefully braided, but its lower half has been singed into uneven charcoal curls from years spent beside enchanted furnaces. Scarlet robes hang from him in heavy layered folds, their hems embroidered with brass runes and darkened by soot. Gold rings cover nearly every finger, with additional rings threaded through his beard and one through the center of his left eyebrow. He moves with the deliberate dignity of a priest during ceremony, yet his hands are constantly busy, tapping calculations against his staff or adjusting a ring. The contradictory impression is striking: he looks extravagantly wealthy, but every garment bears the practical stains of someone who still works beside the forge.
