Species

Outsider

Appearance

Lumina appears as a tall, luminous outsider wrapped in soft radiance rather than flesh. Her form is edged in faintly shifting silhouettes, as if dawn is trying to remember how to become a person. Her skin looks like moonlit porcelain dusted with gold ash, smooth at a distance but close enough to reveal tiny star-like flecks drifting beneath the surface. She moves with careful grace, almost gliding, yet every step leaves the impression of someone carrying unbearable grief with perfect posture. The contradictory detail is that her smile is warm and ordinary, like a village midwife's, while her eyes contain the deep, severe stillness of a burial chamber at noon.

Height6 ft 1 in
BuildSlender and long-limbed, with an unearthly stillness that makes her seem both fragile and impossible to budge
EyesPale silver with a faint gold ring around each pupil
HairSilvery white with a faint dawn-gold sheen
SkinPorcelain pale with warm gold undertones and faint silver freckling

Her voice is low, clear, and gentle, like morning wind passing through hanging chimes in a chapel courtyard. Every sentence sounds considered, as though she has weighed the cost of each syllable and chosen the one least likely to wound.”

Distinguishing Features

A halo-like ring of dim lanternlight that appears only in darkness.

A crack of silver fire running from her left collarbone to her wrist.

Her shadow is always one heartbeat behind her body.

A faint scent of rain on warm stone follows her.

Small brass bells tied into her hair that never seem to ring unless someone lies nearby.

Voice

Soft, wind-quiet, and solemn, with the calm certainty of someone who has seen too many last breaths to lie about hope

Clothing

She wears layered robes of pearl-gray silk and weathered mourning black, stitched with tiny reflective threads that resemble constellations seen through fog. A plain veil of translucent linen hangs from one shoulder, and the hem of her mantle is singed in several places, as if she recently walked through a fire and did not wish to change out of respect for it.

Body Language

Her posture is upright and grave, with hands often clasped at the wrists as though in a rite. When she is moved, her shoulders soften first, then her face, and only afterward her words. She tilts her head slightly when listening, like a person hearing bells far away.
