Mirela Fenwisp
Scout
Mirela Fenwisp
Species
Chomavaft
Appearance
Mirela is a sinewy chomavaft woman who seems half made of wetland and half made of moonlit bone. Her skin has the sheen of rain on cattail stalks, layered in fine, mud-toned scales that gleam green at the edges when she moves. She carries herself with a slow, deliberate sway, but her hands are quick and precise, as if always measuring currents no one else can feel. A surprising contradiction gives her away at once: she wears a spotless white scarf wrapped around her neck and shoulders, somehow kept immaculate despite the bogs she inhabits. The scarf makes her look almost ceremonial, while the rest of her is all marsh grit and practical scars.
“Low, careful, and precise, with a habit of sounding kinder than her words actually are..”

Distinguishing Features
A pale scar runs from her left collarbone to her ribs like a cracked river branch.
Her pupils narrow almost to slits in bright light.
Three small silver bells are sewn inside her scarf and barely jingle when she turns.
Her right hand bears black ink tattoos of safe channels, hidden below the wrist.
The tip of one ear is split, healed crookedly from a childhood dock accident.
Voice
“Soft but unyielding, with a marsh-quiet cadence and sudden sharp emphasis on names and promises.”
Clothing
A moss-green traveling coat with stitched reed-fiber lining, high wading boots, fingerless gloves, a white ceremonial scarf, and a belt of pouches filled with herbs, chalk, and fishing line.
Body Language
Moves with a quiet, floating caution, pausing as if listening to mud beneath her feet. She tilts her head before answering, and her fingers unconsciously trace circles on her scarf when thinking.
