Captain Seralyth Vael
Warlock
Captain Seralyth Vael
Species
Half-Elf
Appearance
Captain Seralyth Vael cuts an unforgettable figure, all sharp angles and salt-worn grace. Her half-elven features are elegant but weathered, with skin marked by faint pearl-like scars that glimmer when wet. She moves like a person who expects the deck to lurch beneath her, one shoulder always slightly forward as if leaning into a constant gale. The strangest thing about her is that she dresses in immaculate midnight velvet under a battered oilskin coat, as though she expects to attend a royal reception during a storm. Her left hand is gloved in black stitched with copper thread, while her right hand is bare and perpetually cold, ringed with tiny barnacle-white calluses from gripping rigging and relics alike.
“Low, precise, and musical, with a captain's confidence and a poet's habit of making threats sound like invitations.”
