Varro Nightbloom
Artificer
Varro Nightbloom
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
Varro Nightbloom is a lean tiefling with long, fine horns that sweep back like polished obsidian scythes, one horn nicked near the tip as if by an old sword stroke. His skin is a deep plum-red with a faint metallic sheen, as though soot and moonlight were mixed into it. His hands are always faintly warm and dusted with silver filings, and when he moves, he does so with a careful, almost ceremonial precision that contrasts with the cluttered chaos of his shop. His tail ends in a black tuft of fur that has been dipped in copper ink, and he wears a surprising amount of immaculate white lace beneath his leather apron, as if he insists on elegance in places no one else would bother. He smells of hot iron, clove smoke, and rain on stone.
“Low, precise, and dry, with a habit of sounding like he is explaining a mechanism even when discussing feelings. He rarely raises his voice, but when he does, it lands like a hammer strike.”
