Alindra Quicksilver
Wizard, School of Transmutation
Alindra Quicksilver
Species
Rock Gnome
Appearance
Alindra Quicksilver is a three-foot-six-inch gnome whose wild copper hair erupts in every direction like a flame caught in a permanent updraft. Her movements are quick, angular, and restless, with sudden pauses that make her seem briefly frozen before she darts away again. Her face is narrow and expressive, marked by a small burn scar shaped like a crescent beneath her left eye. Large brass goggles rest permanently on her forehead, their lenses clouded with scratches, glittering dust, and tiny trapped bubbles. She leaves an impression of dangerous enthusiasm wrapped around genuine kindness. The contradictory element is her immaculate hands: despite her scorched robes and perpetually explosive laboratory, her fingers are always perfectly clean and smell faintly of lavender soap.
“Her voice is bright, quick, and musical, with words tumbling over one another as though racing toward the next idea. She occasionally drops into a conspiratorial whisper without warning, then resumes speaking at full speed.”

Clothing
Layered teal and charcoal robes reinforced with leather panels, covered in scorch marks, chemical stains, stitched repairs, and dozens of tiny tool pockets. A copper-threaded apron hangs over the robes and bears the embroidered symbol of the Transmuters' Council. Her boots have retractable metal soles for walking across unstable surfaces.
Body Language
Alindra leans toward whoever is speaking, even when she is already interrupting them. Her fingers constantly tap out rhythms against glass vials or metal tools. She tilts her head sharply when thinking, and her goggles slide down over one eye whenever she becomes emotionally sincere.
