Appearance
Sira is a narrow-shouldered young woman with quick hands and the restless balance of someone accustomed to walking over loose shale. Her face is sun-browned across the nose, while the skin beneath her eyes remains unusually pale, giving her a permanently wakeful look. Her hair is thick, dark brown, and cut unevenly at the jaw because she trims it herself with a sickle. Tiny dried leaves are often caught in it. She moves with delicate concentration when gathering plants, barely disturbing a stem, yet becomes startlingly blunt and clumsy when someone compliments her. Her fingers are permanently stained green, rust-red, and violet from sap and crushed petals. The unexpected contradiction is her smile, which is broad, bright, and almost mischievous despite the otherwise solemn impression she leaves behind.
“Sira speaks quickly when discussing plants, then pauses abruptly as if checking each word against an internal catalog. Her accent carries the clipped vowels of the villages around Urbeth.”

Distinguishing Features
Green and violet stains permanently mark the pads of her fingers.
A small crescent scar cuts through her right eyebrow.
She wears a red apprentice thread around her left wrist.
Her satchel contains labeled glass tubes of soil, resin, and crushed petals.
She has an unusually keen sense of smell but is mildly colorblind in dim light.
Voice
“A clear, low voice with a dry rasp from years of breathing smokehouse air and mountain dust. When excited, she speaks in a near-whisper, forcing everyone nearby to lean closer.”
Clothing
A patched russet wool tunic, gray trousers tucked into soft leather boots, a waxed green gathering cloak, and a many-pocketed apron reinforced with strips of old sailcloth. A red thread is tied around her left wrist to mark her as an apprentice of Die Leise Hand.
Body Language
Sira leans toward anything unfamiliar as though listening with her whole body. When uncertain, she presses her thumb against the side of her index finger and smells the skin. She keeps her shoulders raised around authority figures but relaxes visibly around injured animals and children.
