Joram Coda
Smith-Artisan, Fighter 5
Joram Coda
Species
Copper Dragonborn
Appearance
Joram Coda is a broad-shouldered copper dragonborn with scales like weathered pennies, each one ridged and darkened at the edges as though it has spent decades breathing forge smoke. His horns curl backward in uneven spirals and are capped with tiny brass rings that chime when he turns his head. A pale acid scar runs from his left jaw to the base of his neck, crossing a patch of scales that never quite regrew correctly. He moves with the careful balance of someone used to carrying red-hot metal, placing each foot as if the floor might suddenly become molten. His hands are enormous and permanently stained black beneath the claws. Unexpectedly, he keeps a small white silk flower tucked behind one horn, replacing it every morning even when the shop is crowded with soot and sparks.
“His voice is deep, resonant, and slightly rasping, like a bellows pushed too hard. He speaks in measured phrases, pauses to choose precise words, and occasionally releases a soft puff of acidic vapor when laughing.”

Body Language
Joram leans close when listening, lowering his head until his horns frame the speaker. He drums one claw against his wrist when suspicious and presses his thumb to his palm when suppressing anger. During moments of genuine happiness, his tail makes slow, heavy arcs that knock dust from nearby shelves.
