Appearance
Tharvok is a compact dwarf whose lean muscle sits tight beneath light bronze skin like polished forge metal. Dark brown hair is shaved at the sides and tied into a short topknot braided with a single stone bead, while his stone-gray eyes seem to hold their own weather, still one moment and severe the next. His face is smooth except for a narrow scar across the bridge of his nose, a contradiction to his otherwise serene, monkish presence. He moves with controlled economy, every step measured, as if he is always hearing a rhythm no one else can hear. Even in silence, he gives the impression of weight held perfectly in balance, like a bell that has not yet been struck.
“Low and measured, with the clipped certainty of someone trained to waste neither words nor breath..”

Distinguishing Features
A narrow scar across the bridge of his nose from the cave-in
A stone prayer bead fused with bronze that never leaves his wrist
Callused knuckles marked by years of barehanded drills
An almost contradictory gentleness in his eyes, even when his stance is combative
Voice
“Warm but restrained, with a gravelly undertone that makes every calm statement sound like a vow.”
Clothing
He wears layered ash-gray monk wraps under a sleeveless mantle of dark slate cloth, bound with prayer cords and a simple bronze sash ring engraved with mountain sigils. His sandals are reinforced with rawhide and stitched linen, and his hands are wrapped in pale cloth already worn soft at the knuckles.
Body Language
His shoulders stay relaxed until violence is certain, then his whole frame tightens like a drawn cable. He inclines his head instead of nodding, keeps his hands open when at rest, and steps lightly even on stone stairs. When listening, he tilts one ear forward as if hearing the grain of a rock face.
