Appearance
Urzvir Nextar is a wiry man with the look of someone carved by wind rather than born by it. His skin has the warm gray-brown tone of old river clay, and in bright light it shows faint silver flecks across the cheeks and collarbones, as though embedded with ground mica. His black hair is cut unevenly, longer on one side and usually tied back with copper wire, while a single forelock always escapes and falls over his left brow. His eyes are an unusual sea-green, but one iris is ringed with a thin amber halo that gives him a watchful, almost startled expression even when he is calm. He stands just under average height, moves with a careful, side-stepping grace, and keeps his shoulders slightly hunched as if bracing against weather no one else can feel. He wears an immaculate white scholar's shirt under a patched traveler coat, which is contradictory to the soot, ink, and oil permanently embedded in his cuffs and fingers.
“Measured and precise, with dockside slang and the habit of naming directions, measurements, and times even in casual conversation.”

Distinguishing Features
A silver burn scar crossing his right palm in the shape of a half-open eye
An amber ring around one iris
Tiny ink-dark stains under his fingernails that never fully wash out
A copper wire charm shaped like a compass needle threaded through his belt
His immaculate shirt cuffs, which look out of place against his perpetually ruined hands
Voice
“Low and careful, with a faint coastal rasp; he sounds as though every sentence has been checked against a ledger before being spoken”
Clothing
A patched navy coat with brass toggles, ink-stained scholar's sleeves, soft riding boots with repaired soles, and a hidden inner pocket for papers, coins, and stolen seals
Body Language
He keeps his left hand close to his chest, fingers flexing as if measuring invisible distances. When he thinks, he tilts his head and blinks one eye at a time. He rarely gestures broadly, preferring precise, economical motions, except when excited, when his hands become quick and birdlike.
