Appearance
Lethra Vask-of-the-Quiet-Anvil is a broad-shouldered brass dragonborn woman whose scales have the dull, hammered texture of old kitchenware, with bright gold showing only along her knuckles, brow ridges, and the edges of her jaw. She walks with a slight forward lean, as though forever braced against the heat of a forge, yet her movements are unexpectedly delicate when handling glass, eggshells, or frightened children. Her left horn is broken halfway down and capped with a crooked silver ferrule. She smells faintly of charcoal, orange peel, and rain on hot stone. The most contradictory thing about her is her smile: it is soft, shy, and almost girlish, despite the scarred hands, iron posture, and intimidating silhouette she presents across a room.
“Her voice is low, grainy, and warm, with a faint crackle when she is angry. She speaks slowly when offering comfort and rapidly when discussing tools, structural failures, or anything that might endanger children.”

Distinguishing Features
A broken left horn capped with crooked silver.
Three pale burn scars across both palms.
A narrow line of blue glass beads braided into the end of her tail.
One eye is amber, while the other is a cloudy brass color from an old injury.
Her scales ring faintly when struck by metal, producing a high, bell-like note.
Voice
“A low, smoky contralto with a forge-worker's rasp, softened by unexpected gentleness when she speaks to children or injured creatures.”
Clothing
A smoke-gray linen tunic beneath a patched leather apron, charcoal trousers tucked into iron-capped boots, and a faded saffron scarf inherited from her mother. Her clothing is carefully mended but never decorative except for a line of tiny brass buttons shaped like fish.
Body Language
Lethra folds her arms when suspicious, taps one claw against her wrist when calculating, and lowers her head slightly when apologizing. When relaxed, she polishes one horn with a scrap of wool and rocks gently from heel to toe as if keeping time with an unseen hammer.
