Appearance
Merrin Silt is a lean Beastfolk with foxlike features sharpened by a life near docks and floodplains. Their fur is a muted marsh-gray streaked with moss green along the shoulders and tail, sleek in places from constant oiling and rough in others where river mud has stained it permanent. Their eyes are a clear amber-gold, bright and watchful, but one pupil is clouded with a pale scar that makes the gaze look oddly two-minded. They move with the soft, precise caution of someone always stepping across slippery planks, yet they keep a ridiculous stitched linen apron covered in cheerful little embroidered fish and stars, as if a baker had been mistaken for a smuggler. The contradiction suits them perfectly. A brass ferry bell hangs from their belt and gives a tiny sigh when they walk.
