Paroka Serran
Monk
Paroka Serran
Species
Tabaxi
Appearance
Paroka Serran is a broad-shouldered duskborn tabaxi with slate-gray fur brushed through with pale gold streaks that look almost painted on, as if sunrise once tried to claim him and never finished the job. His face is angular and composed, with a scar split cleanly through one whisker pad, and his hands are heavy-knuckled despite the monk's restraint in every movement. He wears no armor, only layered ash-colored wraps and a travel sash stitched with tiny bells that do not ring unless he allows them to. He moves with a strange contradiction: utterly silent when alert, yet he habitually slouches like a tired dock laborer when standing still, giving the impression of a man who could both vanish and collapse at any moment. His most unexpected feature is a formal scholar's monocle balanced on a cord over one eye, which he uses to read prayer scripts he pretends not to care about.
“Low, careful, and surprisingly musical, as though every sentence has been measured against a bell rope before being released.”
