Keth Varkuun is a broad shouldered brass dragonborn whose scales gleam like burnished copper over the chest and fade to dark claret along the arms and tail, as if he has been dipped in spiced wine. His snout bears a pale scar that splits one nostril, giving him a permanently amused expression. His claws are usually stained with saffron, blackberry, or ash from open fires, and his tail moves with the controlled rhythm of a practiced chef stirring a pot. He wears a contradiction of fine and practical things at once: an immaculate white apron embroidered with silver vines over travel worn monk wraps, and a tiny silk neckerchief that is always spotless despite his work. When he focuses, the air around him seems to sharpen, as though he is tasting the room before anyone else steps into it.
