Kaelor Veyrash
Inquisitorial Clerk
Kaelor Veyrash
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
Kaelor is a narrow, ash-skinned tiefling with the exhausted poise of a man who has spent decades standing beside executions without ever touching the blade. His horns curl forward like blackened ram horns and are polished to a dull satin, but one bears a childish string of red glass beads that he refuses to remove. His fingers are long, ink-stained, and permanently cramped around an invisible writing posture. He walks with tiny, careful steps, as though every floor tile might be evidence. Despite his severe face and judicial robes, he has a soft, almost tender smile whenever he handles damaged books or frightened children, creating an unsettling contradiction between his cruelty and his genuine care for fragile things.
“A low, careful voice with a clerk's rhythm. He pauses before names, speaks softly during threats, and grows almost inaudible when discussing Mara.”
