According to temple tradition, the pantheon began when three travelers found a dying star fallen into a mortal valley. Liora planted it in living soil, Caelion guarded it through the night, and Veyra carried its light into the heavens. The star became the First Flame, while the three companions became its divine keepers.

The gods dwell in the Threefold Heaven, a vast celestial city surrounding the First Flame. Liora tends its living orchards, Caelion keeps its eternal hearths and gates, and Veyra charts the shifting roads between worlds. Mortal life is believed to be a gift of all three: Liora gives breath, Caelion gives belonging, and Veyra gives the choice to become something new.

The religion is organized as a loose Concord rather than a centralized church. Each temple maintains its own clergy, rites, and traditions, but all recognize the Threefold Covenant: preserve life through Liora, protect community through Caelion, and preserve freedom through Veyra. High priests meet yearly at the Festival of Three Lights to settle disputes, appoint traveling mediators, and coordinate aid during famine, war, or disaster.

Most communities honor all three deities through a shared household shrine: a green bowl for Liora, a bronze lamp for Caelion, and a silver road-stone for Veyra. Priests commonly serve one deity while cooperating with the others. Arguments between temples are usually philosophical rather than violent, and festivals often combine all three traditions. Adventuring parties frequently invoke Caelion before entering danger, Liora when saving lives, and Veyra when taking an improbable chance.

The Radiant Turning is a peaceful realm shaped by all three deities. Souls first rest in Liora's gardens, receive welcome and remembrance from Caelion's hearth-keepers, and eventually pass into Veyra's starry roads, where they may return as guiding dreams, fortunate births, or gentle ancestral spirits.
