The Vault of the Untaken Path
A hexagonal vault chamber crafted from polished obsidian that swallows all light except for the shimmering glow of four massive, silver-framed mirrors. Each mirror stands six feet tall and reflects a distorted reality: one shows the viewers as innocent children, another as ancient elders, a third as armored generals, and a fourth as common laborers. In the center of the room, four glass orbs rest upon velvet-lined pedestals, each humming with a low, harmonic frequency that vibrates in the teeth of those nearby. A cold, metallic scent fills the air, and the floor is inscribed with silver filigree that seems to flow toward a sealed stone door without handles.
