The Ouroboros of Reverted Seasons

A shimmering vault crafted from solidified moonlight stands at the heart of the World-Oak's roots. In the center of the chamber, a tree of liquid silver perpetually shifts its leaves between emerald, gold, copper, and white. Four stone basins surround the trunk, each radiating a different temperature and aroma: the scent of rain, the heat of a desert, the smell of dried grain, and the bite of a mountain frost. The exit is barred by an indestructible gate of interlocking iron thorns that pulse with a rhythmic, heartbeat-like glow, waiting for the tithe of the four seasons.
