A massive stone door blocks the cavern passage, its face latticed with emerald tiles that slide in precise rows across a frame of bronze gears. Ancient star glyphs are cut around the edge in spirals and bands, some worn smooth by age, others still bright with green mineral dust. When a tile shifts, the whole door answers with a deep mechanical rumble, and faint starlight seems to pulse through the cracks as if the mechanism is measuring the heavens themselves.
