The Ossuary of Redirected Souls

The chamber is a perfectly circular vault of dark basalt where three concentric floor rings rotate around a central pedestal. Ethereal green vapor flows through carved channels in the floor, but the paths are disconnected, dead-ending at the ring borders. Hundreds of skulls gaze from the wall niches, their jaws clicking in a dissonant, rhythmic pattern that vibrates through the soles of your boots. At the center, a crystalline canister holds a flickering white soul-spark that dims and brightens like a dying candle, acting as the primary light source for the gloom.
