Key Personas

Sela the Hermit
Sela is a woman of deep, hollow sorrows who speaks in riddles because the moon's light fragments her perception of time. She is fiercely protective of the mountain's sanctity yet paralyzed by the fear of her own impending death. While she is endlessly patient with the flora and fauna of her cave, she is biting and cynical toward 'blood-filled mortals' who she views as walking catastrophes waiting to spill their contents on her sacred ground.

Elara Vane
She is cold and efficient with her staff but reveals a blistering, dry wit to those she deems competent. She harbors a deep resentment for her master's laziness, feeling a mix of clerical duty and murderous exhaustion. She treats life and death situations as minor filing errors.
