Great shadows bank and turn through the low-hanging clouds, their leathery wings silent compared to the cacophony below. To the north, a sulfurous river carves a path through the limestone, its banks lined with the bleached ribs of long-dead giants. Here, the food chain is not a metaphor—it is a physical law written in three-toed footprints the size of bathtubs, and you have just stepped onto the bottom rung.
