The Gestalla are a vibrant all-female species of the sun-drenched plains who embody the raw essence of fertility and life. Distinguished by their crimson eyes, animalistic ears, and large, round bellies, they wander the world in a perpetual state of pregnancy. They value physical freedom above all else, often wearing only the most minimal of silks and discarding even those when the urge to feel the sun upon their soft skin becomes too great.

A Gestalla is instantly recognizable by her soft, flawless skin and striking crimson eyes. Though they possess slim limbs and slender shoulders, they have exceptionally wide hips and very large breasts. Atop their heads sit expressive animal-like ears, complemented by a long, matching tail. The most defining characteristic of an adult Gestalla is her very large, round pregnant belly. Every member of the species carries triplets as a baseline biological state. They move with a gentle, swaying gait, almost always keeping both hands placed firmly on the middle of their bellies, rubbing them in a rhythmic, soothing motion. Their attire is ritualistically minimal, consisting of little more than delicate bras and lower undergarments which they frequently tear off to embrace a state of complete nakedness when outdoors.

Gestalla society is a communal matriarchy where the concept of the family extends to the entire village. They do not have men among their kind; they reproduce through a spiritual connection with the essence of the plains or through magical resonance with other humanoids. Their culture is one of extreme comfort and physical expression. They do not believe in the modesty of other races, viewing the concealment of their bodies as a hindrance to their connection with nature. Festivals often involve the communal tearing of garments and the anointing of their pregnant forms with floral oils. They are a joyful, tactile people who prioritize the health of their triplets and the happiness of their sisters.

Most Gestalla lean toward Neutral Good. they value life, growth, and personal freedom. They often worship deities of the hearth, sun, and harvest. Their religion is practiced through dance and the physical nurturing of their forms rather than through dusty scrolls or rigid temples.

They live in the vast, open plains in structures known as Sun-Cradles. These are open-air pavilions made of white stone and soft silks, designed to allow the wind and light to touch every corner. There are no doors or locks in Gestalla architecture, as they have no concept of private property or shame regarding their nakedness.

Other races often find the Gestalla overwhelming due to their lack of modesty and their constant focus on their unborn. Humans find them enchanting but often struggle with the Gestalla habit of discarding clothes in public spaces. Elf-like species admire their connection to the natural cycle, while dwarf-like folk are often flustered by their carefree attitude toward traditional decorum.
