Veyruun are rangy beast-folk with expressive muzzles, mobile ears, digitigrade legs, and coats adapted to their ancestral climates. Their most distinctive feature is a pair of keratinous antler plates that grow along the brow and temples. These plates are not true horns. They are warm, faintly translucent, and marked by natural veins that brighten during strong emotion or ritual song. Veyruun fur ranges from ash gray and russet to deep blue-black, cream, copper, and mottled silver. Their hands have four long fingers and a small inner claw useful for climbing, knotwork, and grooming.
