Their faces are expressive and predatory, marked by sharp canines, mobile ears, and eyes adapted to low light. Apexkin settlements are arranged in wide hunting circles around wells, shade groves, or elevated stone platforms. Dwellings combine hide, woven grass, bone, and sun-baked clay, with low entrances that break the wind and broad communal roofs that provide shade. Their roads are rarely straight. They follow the routes of herds, seasonal water, and ancestral patrols. Coastal apexkin sometimes build tide-facing terraces, while northern clans favor insulated burrows beneath snow-braced sod.
