Highpeak Kin are broad-shouldered, long-limbed, and built for carrying weight over rough ground. Mixed human and giant-blood often shows in their large frames, deep voices, strong brows, and hands that look made for stone, rope, and axe hafts. Many have weather-tough skin, dark or storm-bright eyes, and hair that thickens into braids, cords, or topknots to keep it out of the wind. Their features vary widely from one lineage to another, with some appearing nearly human apart from their height and presence, while others wear their giant descent more openly in heavy bones, scaled marks, or frost-pale complexions.

Highpeak Kin society is organized around routes, seasons, and mutual obligation rather than strict blood hierarchy. A person earns status by keeping others alive through storms, returning with useful knowledge, or taking the hardest watch without complaint. Storytelling is practical as well as ceremonial, because a remembered avalanche route can be as valuable as a sword.
