Ripplekin are small humanoids with smooth, moist skin, broad expressive eyes, rounded snouts, and delicate external frills along the neck, forearms, and spine. Their coloration ranges from moss green and copper brown to violet, pearl, blue-black, and bright orange. Many possess faintly glowing spots or bands that intensify with emotion, illness, or proximity to magic. Their hands and feet have broad gripping pads, and their tails are short or nearly vestigial.
