Hook
Sky bazaars, rune lifts, and embassy towers crowd the island that holds the web together.
The Atrix Isles are a globe of linked realms held together by a living mana web and watched from a floating central hub. Trade, magic, and politics all flow through Atrix Isle, where human cities, elf academies, and half-elven embassies bargain for balance. Around it lie eleven distinct continents and archipelagos, each rich, proud, and one failed repair away from isolation.

The sinking edges
The sea is creeping into old harbors, and no one agrees whether it is a curse, a warning, or a price.
The foundry pact
New magitech could save the isles or strip them bare if the wrong hands set the pace.
Keep the web stable, keep trade flowing, and keep the other realms dependent on the hub.
Protect old forests, wetlands, and mountain sanctuaries from overbuild and extraction.
Control ports, sky docks, and caravan tolls before the web repairs make them obsolete.
Forge better wards, weapons, and transit engines, even if it changes the balance of power.

The Atrix Isle rose from the sea and bound the scattered peoples to one trade web, ending a long age of isolated coast-kings and hill warbands.
Mana conduits spread between the realms, and the isles grew wealthy through shared sky routes, shared laws, and careful treaties.
The web began to thin in places, old rivalries sharpened, and every realm now argues over who should repair the world before it falls apart.
A conduit line goes dark, and every realm sends agents to blame the others before the first winter storm hits.
A merchant prince offers peace if the party escorts a rival envoy through three hostile regions.
A reef temple surfaces with records showing the Atrix Web was built on a hidden sacrifice.
An engine buried under the hub starts singing in a language nobody alive knows.
The current web is not the first system binding the isles.
Discovery · Old bridge stones under the hub show a second set of builder marks.
Impact · The Atrix Web may have been built over an older network that still wakes beneath it.
A hidden core may be feeding the entire realm.
Discovery · Reef diviners and mountain seers tell matching dreams of a hollow star below the sea.
Impact · The world’s anchor may be an buried engine that can be repaired or awakened.
The founding pact hid a crime shared by every ruler.
Discovery · Faded treaty tablets in three regions contain the same erased clause.
Impact · One of the great powers agreed to a sacrifice that no one will admit to now.
