Arren throws up one hand as crossbow bolts punch through the rain-dark hedge. Mercenaries surge onto the muddy road, cutting off the path to Ravenbrook Keep, while one scout breaks toward the ravine with a sealed order in hand. Behind the trees, the keep's warning bells begin to toll.

Terrain Levers
- Cut the thorn hedge to open a 10-foot bypass, or force creatures through it at half speed.
- A creature shoved into the shallow ravine falls prone and takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage.
- A wagon rut becomes difficult terrain; a creature that Dashes across it must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or fall prone.
