The Echoing Dirge-Chime
A large silver bell hangs from a skeletal arm mounted to the ceiling. Its surface is engraved with runes that drip a black, oily substance onto the floor below.

Detection
“The silver has a dull, unnatural sheen, and the internal clapper is shaped like a human tongue made of cold iron. The air around it vibrates with a subtle, uncomfortable frequency.”
Standard Engagement
The chime rings if a creature enters within a 15-foot radius or if a sound louder than a whisper is made within 30 feet of it.
None
The trap resets automatically after 1 minute when the oily residue coats the runes again.
When triggered, the bell rings once. Each creature within a 20-foot radius must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, a creature takes 22 (4d10) psychic damage and is deafened for 1 minute. On a success, the creature takes half damage and is not deafened.
Any creature that fails its saving throw against the chime has disadvantage on Concentration checks for 1 minute due to the persistent ringing in their mind.
