Flickering Astral Scar
A jagged, iridescent tear in reality created by the catastrophic intersection of two extradimensional spaces. It pulses with the dying energy of the destroyed bags, offering a brief and dangerous window back to the Material Plane.

Detection
“A vertical crack of absolute white light, approximately seven feet tall, bleeding violet and silver sparks into the silvery void. Ghostly, translucent images of the location where the rift opened occasionally flicker within the light.”
Standard Engagement
A creature moves within 5 feet of the scar or attempts to reach into the light without first stabilizing the rift.
None
The scar collapses 1 round after being triggered or 1 minute after being successfully disabled.
Trigger: A creature touches the rift or fails a disable check. Effect: The rift lashes out with unstable force. All creatures within a 15-foot burst must attempt a DC 21 Reflex save. On a Failure, a creature takes 4d10+4 force damage and is Sickened 1 by planar vertigo. On a Critical Failure, the creature takes double damage, is Sickened 2, and is thrown 10 feet away from the rift. On a Success, the creature takes half damage. On a Critical Success, the creature takes no damage.
If a creature successfully Disables the hazard, the rift becomes stable. Any creature that steps into the rift as an interact action is immediately transported back to the Material Plane at the location where the bags were combined. The rift can transport up to 4 creatures before it permanently collapses.
Creatures within 10 feet of the scar that are carrying extradimensional items (like a remaining Bag of Holding) take a -2 penalty to AC and Reflex saves as the rift attempts to consume more planar energy.
