Screaming Resonant Geode
A cluster of translucent, violet-hued crystals embedded in a rock wall that vibrates in sympathy with local sounds. It builds kinetic energy from noise and releases it as a devastating sonic blast.

Detection
“Jagged, semi-transparent purple crystals that pulse with a faint inner light. The air around them feels heavy, and high-pitched ringing can be heard if one stands too close.”
Standard Engagement
Any sound louder than a whisper within 20 feet (such as speaking at normal volume, heavy footsteps, or clanking plate armor) triggers the hazard.
N/A
The hazard resets after 1 hour of total silence in its vicinity.
When triggered, the crystals emit a piercing scream. Every creature within 20 feet must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, a creature takes 4d6 thunder damage and is deafened for 1 minute. On a success, they take half damage and are not deafened.
Any spell that deals thunder damage cast within 30 feet of the hazard automatically triggers it, and the blast damage increases by 2d6.
If the geode is reduced to 0 hit points by bludgeoning damage, it shatters harmlessly. If reduced by any other damage type, it triggers its Resonance Blast as a reaction.
