The Gilded Threshold of Eternal Lineage
An ancient, golden mosaic on the floor depicting a faceless monarch. When a female creature steps upon it, the mosaic glows with a warm, amber light, and the divine essence of a king from four millennia ago attempts to reincarnate through them, forcing an instantaneous and magical gestation.

Detection
“The floor is inlaid with cracked gold leaf and lapis lazuli. The air smells of ancient myrrh and warm milk. In the center of the room, a low stone dais is surrounded by comfortable but dusty silks.”
Standard Engagement
A female creature (or any creature capable of bearing offspring) enters the 10-foot square occupied by the mosaic.
The hazard uses its first action to target a triggered creature with Gestation. It uses its second action to pulse an Aura of Matriarchal Contentment. It uses its third action to accelerate the timeline of the rebirth cycle for any creature already affected.
The hazard resets automatically after 24 hours if at least one 'birth' has been completed, or immediately if all affected subjects leave the area or are cured.
The creature must succeed at a DC 21 Fortitude save or immediately become magically five months pregnant. On a failure, the creature becomes Encumbered and takes a -10 foot status penalty to Speed. This effect is a magical curse.
Affected creatures must succeed at a DC 21 Will save or be compelled to stay within the room and rub their bellies. On a failure, the creature is fascinated by the hazard and refuses to leave the ruins willingly, believing this is their divine purpose.
After 3 rounds of the routine, the first stage of labor occurs. The creature must succeed at a DC 21 Fortitude save or take 3d6 bludgeoning damage. A small, spectral 'practice' twin is born and vanishes, preparing the way for the true king.
One round after the Practice Birth, the second twin is born. This twin is the physical vessel of the 4000-year-old King. The host takes 6d6 bludgeoning damage (DC 21 basic Fortitude save). If the birth is successful, a Level 4 'Risen King' creature (use a Wight or Mummy stat block) appears in an adjacent square.
If a woman is still in the room after the birth, the hazard immediately triggers again on its next turn, starting the gestation process over for a new set of twins.
While pregnant with the king, the creature gains a +2 status bonus to Charisma-based skill checks against anyone who recognizes the divine nature of the pregnancy.
