The Embalmer's Breath Vent
A series of copper pipes ending in skull shaped nozzles are embedded into the masonry. When triggered, they spray a fine, grey mist composed of necromantic salts and preserving fluid designed to rot the living and mummify the dead.

Detection
“The hazard consists of several tarnished copper nozzles shaped like screaming faces, positioned at chest height along the narrow corridor of the vault.”
Standard Engagement
A creature steps on the pressure-sensitive floor tile.
None
Manual reset only. A technician must refill the internal alchemical canisters and reset the spring on the floor tile, a process taking 10 minutes.
The vent releases a 15 foot cone of caustic necromantic gas. Each creature in the area must attempt a DC 18 Fortitude save. On a Failure, the creature takes 2d10+4 poison damage and is Sickened 1. On a Critical Failure, the creature takes double damage and is Sickened 2.
The area affected by the gas is treated as difficult terrain due to obscuring mist and remains toxic for 1 round. Any creature that ends its turn in the mist takes 1d6 poison damage.
