The Prince's Gracious Entanglement
A curtain of shimmering, phosphorescent vines hangs across the cave entrance, exuding a fragrance of crushed mint and expensive wine. The vines are programmed by a Verdant Prince to ensure all guests enter with proper courtly decorum.

Defenses
Detection
“Thick, translucent green vines draped with bell-shaped azure flowers that chime softly in the wind. The floor beneath the vines is impeccably clean, polished like a ballroom floor.”
Standard Engagement
Any creature that moves within 10 feet of the vines without first performing a respectful bow or a flourish of courtly greeting triggers the hazard.
N/A (Simple Hazard)
The vines reset after 1 minute of inactivity.
Each creature within 10 feet of the entrance must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the creature is charmed and restrained as the vines wrap around their limbs, forcing them into a vigorous, involuntary dance. The target takes 22 (4d10) psychic damage from the sheer social embarrassment and mental strain of the magically enforced rhythm. While dancing, the creature is considered restrained. At the end of each of its turns, the creature can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on a success. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and is not restrained.
A creature that uses its action to perform a DC 13 Charisma (Performance) check to bow or dance gracefully before entering gains advantage on the saving throw against the vines.
If the vines are destroyed by fire or necrotic damage, the Verdant Prince is immediately aware and considers the party 'uninvited ruffians,' giving them disadvantage on the next social interaction check within the cave.
