Whispering Web-Chimes
Fine silken threads are strung with tiny, hollowed-out bird skulls and silver thimbles. When disturbed, they vibrate with a discordant psychic resonance that screams into the minds of those nearby.

Detection
“Translucent webbing stretches across the doorway, shimmering with a faint violet oily sheen. Dozens of small trinkets hang from the silk, twitching slightly even in the absence of a breeze.”
Standard Engagement
A creature moves through the area containing the webs or touches the silk threads.
None
The hazard must be manually reset by replacing the broken webbing and re-attuning the chimes through a 10 minute ritual.
The chimes emit a piercing, multi-tonal shriek that echoes in the physical world and the mind simultaneously. Each creature in a 15-foot burst must attempt a DC 18 Will save. On a Critical Success, the creature is unaffected. On a Success, the creature takes 1d6 mental damage. On a Failure, the creature takes 2d6 mental damage and is Stupefied 1 for 1 round. On a Critical Failure, the creature takes 4d6 mental damage and is Stupefied 2 for 1 minute.
The physical sound of the chimes is audible up to 300 feet away through open corridors, potentially alerting nearby monsters to the presence of the party.
