Gulthias Tree's Vengeance
A massive, gnarled tree with bark like charred obsidian and leaves that drip a thick, blood-like sap. The roots appear to be clutching the skeletal remains of past victims.

Detection
“The tree stands 40 feet tall, its twisted limbs ending in needle-sharp thorns. The ground around it is spongy with decay and lacks any normal swamp vegetation.”
Standard Engagement
A creature attempts to harvest wood from the tree or deals damage to its trunk.
None
The tree heals its wounds with thick sap. A new limb can be harvested 24 hours after a successful harvesting.
The tree lashes out with blood-slicked branches. It makes a melee strike against the triggering creature (and the 'harvester' if they are different). Attack +14 melee; Damage 2d10+7 slashing plus 1d6 persistent bleed damage.
When the tree is first damaged or its wood is harvested, it releases a burst of toxic pollen and hungry vines in a 15-foot emanation. Each creature in the area must succeed at a DC 21 Fortitude save or become Sickened 1 and Immobilized (DC 20 Athletics to Escape).
If a creature is bleeding within 10 feet of the tree at the start of its turn, the tree absorbs the spilled blood and restores 5 Hit Points.
Wood harvested from the tree while it is still 'alive' can be crafted into +1 striking bolts that deal an additional 1d4 negative damage to living creatures.
