When triggered, the scales tip violently toward the intruder, releasing a shockwave of divine energy. All creatures in a 15-foot burst must attempt a DC 21 Will save. On a Critical Success, the creature is unaffected. On a Success, the creature takes 2d8 spirit damage and is Dazzled for 1 round. On a Failure, the creature takes 4d8 spirit damage and is Blinded for 1 round. On a Critical Failure, the creature takes 8d8 spirit damage and is Blinded for 1 minute.
The hazard ignores any non-magical armor. If a creature has the Chaotic alignment or the Chaotic trait, the damage from Sentence of the Just is increased by one die size (to d10s).
