Latham Vezsara
Druid, Circle of Wildfire
Latham Vezsara
Species
Elf
Appearance
Latham is a tall, fine-boned elf with the posture of someone raised to be watched and the wary movements of someone who learned to sleep beside a fire. His skin is pale bronze with faint freckles across his nose that resemble drifting sparks. Long blonde hair falls to his waist in loose, sun-bleached waves, but several strands have permanently darkened to charcoal after a ritual went wrong. His eyes are moss green around the pupils and amber at the edges, giving his gaze the unsettling impression of a banked flame. He moves quietly and gracefully, yet never seems entirely still, with fingers flexing as if testing the warmth of invisible air. His hands are callused and smoke-stained, an unexpected contradiction to his immaculate noble bearing. He leaves behind the scent of cedar ash, crushed mint, and rain on hot stone.
“His voice is low, warm, and carefully controlled, with a rounded cadence that becomes more musical when he speaks Elvish. He pronounces names precisely and pauses before difficult truths.”

Distinguishing Features
Several blonde locks are permanently blackened from root to tip.
A thin crescent scar crosses his left palm, shaped like a branching flame.
His silver signet ring is cracked through the crest but still worn.
A tiny ember fox usually sleeps inside the hood of his cloak when his wildfire spirit is not summoned.
His shadow sometimes appears to flicker half a second after he moves.
Voice
“Low, warm, and measured, with a gentle courtly resonance and a dry, ember-like rasp when tired”
Clothing
A deep green traveling coat cut in the style of an elven court robe, reinforced with hidden leather panels, over a cream linen shirt embroidered with tiny copper leaves. He wears a weathered red sash from the burned valley, soft ash-gray boots, a silver signet ring, and a cloak lined with fire-resistant wool.
Body Language
Latham keeps his shoulders square and his chin slightly raised in public, but his hands reveal his mood. He rubs soot from his thumb when anxious, touches the scorched strands of his hair when grieving, and leans toward frightened people with an almost parental stillness. Around his wildfire spirit, his aristocratic composure loosens completely.
