Makuza Ogundaji
Druid, Circle of Wildfire
Makuza Ogundaji
Species
Elf
Appearance
Makuza is a tall, narrow-shouldered elf whose movements are too quiet for his height. He walks with the measured grace of a court dancer, but his hands are permanently stained dark beneath the nails, as if he has been digging through charcoal. His face is fine-boned and severe, softened by one shallow dimple that appears only when he lies. A thin burn scar runs from his left temple to the corner of his mouth, pulling his smile into an unsettling half-smirk. He smells faintly of wet soil, cedar smoke, and expensive citrus oil. His presence suggests a funeral conducted in a garden, elegant, controlled, and one spark away from becoming something else.
“Measured, courtly, and low, with clipped consonants and a habit of pausing before the final word of a sentence. His compliments sound like judgments, and his threats sound like weather reports.”

Distinguishing Features
A burn scar from the left temple to the corner of the mouth
Charcoal-dark staining beneath every fingernail
A shallow dimple visible only when he lies
A small ember spirit that sometimes peers from his coat collar before being summoned
His shadow occasionally shows branching antlers when he is angry
Voice
“A quiet baritone with a dry warmth, like wood crackling in a distant hearth. When the wildfire spirit speaks through him, a second voice echoes half a beat later, higher and younger, turning his words into an unsettling duet.”
Clothing
He wears layered charcoal-gray linen beneath a fitted forest-green coat embroidered with copper thread. The coat's inner lining is patterned with tiny flames and seed shapes. His wooden shield is lacquered black and painted with a single white sprout emerging from a field of ash. He carries a noble signet on one hand and a cracked iron ring on the other, the latter hidden beneath a strip of green cloth.
Body Language
Makuza keeps his spine perfectly straight in public, with his hands folded behind his back. When angered, he becomes still rather than tense, and a faint ember-like glow appears beneath the skin of his scar. Around people he trusts, he sits on the floor, removes his boots, and lets small harmless flames crawl over his toes.
